Each of us has the inherent uniqueness beyond measure. It matters not if our minds play the music even 'til slumber. It is in trying to breathe life to words that we mobilize them from nothingness to pulchritude. No one can ever extinguish the passion that runs through our very souls.
In the arena of deception and lies
The powerful and wicked
play their games
in the open.
How can you save a people
from a forlorn society
with ideals in disarray?
How can you guarantee
your children of a
better future?
How can you look forward
for tomorrow?
When you can't even
sleep in peace.
It's been quite a long time since my last post and looking back, there's just so much that needs to be filled in like the gaps in between; literally and figuratively speaking.

Leave me as daylight's slumber
shuts out the glare and freezes time
in suspended animation ...
Beckon me to the lure of twilight
as it repeatedly awakens me
with an interplay of subliminal neurosis,
a dose of caffeine and neurons going haywire
Keep my thoughts fueled and consuming ...
Make me forget the coming of another daybreak ...
